Download an application here to apply for any of the listings below!
Adopt-a-Shelf Volunteers
Agree to spend time checking the organizational accuracy of the library’s shelving. This task is important for making sure items lost due to mis-shelving is minimized and all materials are easy to locate! This is great for volunteers who need flexible hours. Volunteers will be trained in the Dewey Decimal System and must be able to put things in alphabetical and numerical order. Attention to detail and organization are ideal qualities for this task! Send your application in any time and we will contact you with available shelves and discuss a schedule.
Library Event Volunteers
When the library hosts a larger event we may need extra hands to help set-up, clean up, sign-up, or monitor the activities. Gracious hosting skills are a plus! This is great for volunteers who just want a one-time or infrequent opportunity. Send your application in any time and we will contact you when there is a need for an upcoming event.
Community Volunteers
Help spread the word about how great your library is! We will prepare flyers, bookmarks and brochures with our calendar and special programs for you to distribute to local businesses and community bulletin boards. This is a great task for volunteers who are active in the community and have an outgoing nature. This task can have flexible hours or be scheduled at the same time weekly/monthly depending on the volunteer’s needs. Send your application in any time and we will contact you to discuss a schedule.
