Comment: Excellent and outstanding, very knowledgeable patron services. Very helpful with finding CD and Twilight series Breaking Dawn hardcover book. Mr. Vadim Seyfer is very knowledgeable and helpful, went above and beyond to provide excellent, outstanding and exceptional customer service. He is amazing, ingenious, and a vital integral part of the River Forest Public Library. Thank you very much for providing such exceptional patron service in a very vital, amazing and wonderful community and genuine very positive library system.

We actually own 3 out of 4 of the titles that you suggested for purchase- Coldplay’s Viva La Vida, The Purpose Driven Life on Audio CD, and the Michael Jordan biography Driven From Within. Please let us know if you would like help finding these items in the library. Transform Your Thinking, Transform Your Life is not currently available as an audiobook through our vendor, but we will take it under consideration for the Large Print collection. Please allow Roblox on the RFPL computers. A large percentage of the people in Connections like Roblox, so even though it’s slow in downloading, what about putting it on the desktops?
A. Thank you for your suggestion. The library’s Patron Equipment and Computer Use Policy states that patrons are prohibited from using personal software on Library computers and from downloading software onto Library computers. Patrons may access streaming game websites from library computers, provided that use of these websites coincides with the Internet Use Policy. The library also offers a circulating gaming collection, with E and T rated titles, and we are frequently adding new material to this collection. Games are free to check out, and suggestions for titles are welcomed by staff. Please see a librarian with any further questions.

Find Fulfill Flourish by Robin Damsky. Rabbi Robin Damsky is a local author, lived in Oak Park and just moved to Melrose Park, IL. She is the Rabbi of Har Zion Temple in River Forest, IL. This is her new book. It is just as great as she is. Please add it to the RFL collection.

You could use more computers in the teen room. I like the idea of 2 free movies on Wednesdays.

The RF Library should, in the short term, incorporate coffee, tea, and a small selection of snacks in a classy and inviting manner. This would provide a quiet, work-oriented alternative to coffee shops for those who don’t have a brick and mortar office while still meeting the need of having a coffee after a couple hours of staring at the screen (or having a snack).

429. IL Suggestion:
Raise the shelf heights on foreign films. Possibly would increase circulation. The current case is too deep for DVDs. Possibly install temporary block to that the titles are forward.
A: Thank you for your suggestion. We understand that the current shelves for DVDs are not always the most browser-friendly. We are working to bring improved shelving, signage and organization to the collections upstairs in the coming months. Part of this plan will include shifting some items to other locations in the library, and most likely adding new shelving to increase ease of access. We strive to continually make internal improvements and thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to ask staff at the Reference desk if you need help finding anything.
