Digital Audiobook Suggestion Form

The River Forest Public Library subscribes to an online service called Media On Demand, a completely free service which enables patrons to download digital audiobooks from home.

The River Forest Public Library also has a collection of approximately 250 digital audiobook titles purchased through iTunes. These titles are circulated to patrons who bring in their own iPods or check out a library iPod.

Digital audiobooks will now be primarily purchased for the Media on Demand collection and not for the iTunes collection. The iTunes collection will not be actively grown from this point forward (5/1/2010), although titles may be added occasionally to the iTunes collection, at the discretion of the Head of Circulation and the Head of Adult Services.

Patron suggestions will be taken into consideration, however, they will not be the only criteria for purchase and we cannot guarantee that a suggestion will be purchased.
