All ages are invited to drop in to play Wii Games and board games.

Thursday, 2/9, 2-3:30 PM, Valentine’s Day Snacks and Crafts
Kids and Teens in 4th-6th grade can come to the library to make Valentine’s Day crafts and chocolate covered strawberries.

Friday, 2/10, 7 PM, Teen Movie Night
Teens in grades 6 and up are invited to the library for a movie night. We’ll have popcorn and snacks and enjoy a fun teen movie. Please call the library for movie title and rating information.

Friday, 2/24, 7-8:30 PM, Teen Manga Mania Night
Teen Manga readers in grades 6 and up are invited to the Library after-hours for a night of Manga Mania. We’ll have a blast with manga related snacks and activities.

Saturday, 2/25, 1-5 PM Free ACT Practiced Test hosted by Kaplan
& Thursday, 3/1, 7-8 PM, ACT Scores Back Follow-up Workshop hosted by Kaplan
High school students are invited to head to the RFPL to take a free, full-length practice ACT test sponsored by Kaplan Test Prep. A fully-proctored practice test shows students what to expect in a
test-like environment.

At the Scores Back follow-up Workshop, students who took the test will receive a comprehensive analysis of their performance on the test, detailing individual strengths and weaknesses. Parents and students can learn how to score higher on admissions tests using Kaplan strategies. The format and content of the test are explored, question types are reviewed, and more. This is a great opportunity to practice before the real thing! Space is limited to sign-up is required.

RFPL Teen Library Council

Make the library a cooler place for teens, have fun, and get valuable leadership experience by joining the RFPL Teen Library Council (TLC)!

The Teen Library Council will meet throughout the school year to:
-Help choose materials for the library to purchase.
-Suggest ideas for teen programs.
-Make a difference in the community.
-Eat snacks and have a blast!

The Teen Library Council is open to River Forest Library cardholders in grades 7-12. Applications are available during the fall of each school year. To join, pick up an application at the second floor reference desk, or download an application here:
