Policy Committee Meeting Minutes
May 7th, 2010

Present: Trustees Joan O’Connor, Genie Halloran, and Margaret Horstman. Director Sophia Anastos, staff member Rebecca Thornton. 

Freedom of Information Act Policy: 
A discussion occurred around the drafts of the FOIA Policy provided by Director Anastos and what information should be provided on our website. The Policy Committee will make a recommendation that the Board adopt the short version of the FOIA Policy along with five links to further information at the Board Meeting on May 18th. 

Patron Conduct Policy: 
A discussion occurred about revising the Patron Conduct Policy during the next Committee Meeting and how issues surrounding the exterior front of the building could best be addressed. 

Trustee Bylaws: 
The Policy Committee will bring an amendment to the Trustee Bylaws resolving a discrepancy in number of years on page one versus page two to the Board Meeting on May 18th.
