Facilities Committee – Landscaping Subcommittee- Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, March 15th – 6:30 pm

Present: Trustees Harley Beck, Genie Halloran, and Margaret Horstman, Director Sophia Anastos and staff member Joanna Bertucci. Also in attendance were  President Joan O’Connor and Trustee Alice Calabrese.

Trustee Horstman calls the meeting to order at 6:30 pm and calls for a motion to approve the Minutes of the February 14th meeting.  Trustee Halloran moves to approve and Trustee Beck seconds the motion.

      Ayes: Trustees Beck, Halloran and Horstman
      Nays: None

New Business – Landscaping

The Committee discussed staff wish list and landscaping needs.  It was decided that the subcommittee would write a short narrative describing the scope and direction of the project.  The subcommittee will also reach out to the River Forest Park District and the River Forest Parks Foundation.   Director Anastos and Trustee Beck will attend PlanIt Green meeting in the community in the coming week.   The subcommittee also considered hiring a consultant to discuss the project.

The committee scheduled their next meeting for Tuesday, March 29th at 3:00 pm.
