Facilities Committee Meeting Minutes

Present: Trustees Alice Calabrese, Joan O’Connor, and Margaret Horstman. Director Sophia Anastos, staff member Joanna Bertucci, and Joe Huberty of Engberg Anderson were also present.

Call to Order: The Facilities Committee Meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm.

New Business
a. Review of Building Envelope Report with Joe Huberty
The committee members met with Joe Huberty of Engberg Anderson to review the findings of the Building Envelope Study as well as the findings of the landscaping survey.  The committee discussed the findings with Mr. Huberty and it was determined that there are no surprises with this study and that by and large it confirms what was determined in the Capital Reserves Study with the exception of a few minor issues with the slate roof.

At the end of the meeting the committee voted unanimously to recommend that the Board approve $35,600.00 for Engberg Anderson to begin the next phase of work with will include the construction documents, base drawing preparation, bidding, visits, and construction administration.
