Facilities Committee Meeting Minutes
Thursday, July 14th
2:00 pm

Present: Trustees Alice Calabrese-Berry, Claudette Zobel and President Joan O’Connor.    Staff member Joanna Bertucci was also present.  Visitors included Mr. Danny Meister of AGAE Contractors and Mr. Ricardo Pinel of DTS Enterprises. 

Call to Order: The Facilities Committee Meeting was called to order at 2:01 pm. 

Minutes: Trustee Zobel moved to approve Minutes from the June 29th meeting, Trustee Calabrese-Berry seconded, and the motion passed unanimously

Trustee Calabrese-Berry welcomed visitors and introduced the committee members. 

New Business
a. Open and Record Bidding Documents for Building Enclosure Repairs

2 Bids were received; Trustee Calabrese-Berry opened the envelopes and read the bids aloud:
1.  AGAE Contractors
a. The packet included: Bid Form, Contractors Qualification Statement, Subcontractor’s Qualification Statements (Eugene Matthews Inc. and Mortenson Roofing, Co., Inc.), and Bid Bond
b. Base Bid $285, 274.00 and Alternate Bid 1 $18,435.00 
2. DTS Enterprises, Inc.
a. The packet included: Bid Form, Contractors Qualification Statement, Subcontractor’s Qualification Statements (Eugene Matthews Inc. and Mortenson Roofing, Co., Inc.), and Bid Bond
b. Base Bid $140,000.00 and Alternate Bid 1 $20,000.00

After the reading of the bids, the guests left, and Trustees examined the bid documents, discussed the bids, and prepared follow-up questions for Engberg Anderson.  President O’Connor will follow-up from Engberg Anderson.
